1. Acceptance of Terms
By creating an account and using Tradie AutoPilot, you agree to these Terms. If you do not agree, do not use the service.
2. Description of Service
Tradie AutoPilot is a Software-as-a-Service (SaaS) platform for Australian tradespeople. It provides:
- AI-powered quoting, invoicing, and job management
- Client portal with digital approval and payment
- ✨ Real-time live location tracking (On My Way feature)
- ✨ Voice-to-text input for forms and documents
- SWMS (Safe Work Method Statement) generation
- Inventory, expense, and asset management
- Timesheet and payroll tools
- Vehicle logbook management
- Marketing and review tools
- Crew and subcontractor management
3. Accounts and Security
- You are responsible for maintaining the confidentiality of your login credentials.
- You must not share your account with others (crew members can be added under the Crew Management feature).
- You must be 18 years or older and operating a legitimate Australian trade business.
4. Subscription and Billing
- Tradie AutoPilot is offered on a subscription basis, billed monthly or annually.
- Payments are processed by Stripe.
- Subscriptions auto-renew unless cancelled before the renewal date.
- Failed payments: If your payment fails, we will notify you via email and in-app. Access may be restricted after 7 days of non-payment. You will have the opportunity to update your payment details via the billing portal.
- Refunds are handled at our discretion in accordance with the Australian Consumer Law.
5. ✨ Live Location Tracking — User Responsibilities
The On My Way live tracking feature allows your GPS location to be shared with a named client. By using this feature, you acknowledge:
- You are voluntarily activating location sharing for each job individually.
- The location tracking link sent to your client is unique to that job. You are responsible for ensuring it is sent to the correct contact.
- You must not use this feature in a way that misrepresents your location to clients.
- Tradie AutoPilot is not liable for any claims arising from incorrect ETA information.
- You must comply with any applicable privacy obligations to your clients (e.g., informing them their location request link is valid only during that specific job).
6. ✨ Voice Input Feature — User Responsibilities
The voice input feature transcribes spoken audio into text fields within the app. By using this feature:
- You grant the app access to your device microphone for the duration of the recording.
- You understand that audio is processed by Google Cloud Speech-to-Text and is not stored as audio by Tradie AutoPilot.
- You are responsible for reviewing all AI-transcribed content before including it in client-facing documents.
7. AI-Generated Content
Tradie AutoPilot uses AI to generate quotes, invoices, SWMS, and other documents. You acknowledge:
- AI-generated content is a starting point and may contain errors or omissions.
- You are solely responsible for reviewing, editing, and approving all AI-generated documents before sending to clients or regulatory bodies.
- Tradie AutoPilot is not liable for any legal or financial consequences arising from the use of AI-generated documents without review.
- SWMS documents generated by the app do not replace professional safety consultation for high-risk construction work as defined under Australian WHS Regulations.
8. Acceptable Use
You must not use Tradie AutoPilot to:
- Violate any Australian law or regulation
- Generate fraudulent invoices or quotes
- Harass or deceive clients
- Reverse-engineer or circumvent the app's security
- Share your account credentials
9. Intellectual Property
- Tradie AutoPilot and its underlying technology are owned by Tradie AutoPilot Pty Ltd.
- The business data, documents, and records you create within the app remain your property.
- By using the AI features, you grant us a limited, non-exclusive licence to process your data for the purpose of generating outputs on your behalf.
10. Limitation of Liability
To the maximum extent permitted by Australian law, Tradie AutoPilot Pty Ltd is not liable for:
- Loss of business or revenue arising from app downtime
- Errors in AI-generated documents
- Incorrect ETA calculations or location data inaccuracies
- Third-party service failures (Stripe, Twilio, Google, etc.)
Our total liability to you will not exceed the fees paid in the 3 months preceding the relevant claim.
11. Termination
You may cancel your subscription at any time. We may suspend or terminate accounts that violate these Terms. Upon termination, your data is retained for 30 days before deletion, during which you can export it.
12. Governing Law
These Terms are governed by the laws of Queensland, Australia. Any disputes will be resolved in Queensland courts.
13. Changes to These Terms
We will notify you of material changes at least 14 days before they take effect via in-app notification or email.
