Teacher. Sports Fan. Terrible Renovator.
If there’s one thing I hate more than a rained-out cricket match, it’s paperwork.
I’m a 42-year-old PE Teacher living in the Clarence Valley, in regional NSW. I spend my days trying to get teenagers to run laps, and my weekends playing cricket or hockey.
Look, I’ll be honest—I am absolutely useless on the tools. If I try to fix a leaking tap, I usually end up flooding the bathroom. I have a massive respect for what you blokes do.
But while I can't build a deck to save my life, I can make computers do the heavy lifting.
I watched too many of my mates—brilliant builders, sparkies, and plumbers—finish a hard 10-hour day on site, only to go home, let their dinner get cold, and spend another 2 hours staring at a screen typing up quotes with two fingers.
It seemed completely backwards. You guys build the country; you shouldn't be stuck doing late-night data entry.
Because I’m wrangling kids in a classroom from 8:30 to 3:30, I physically don't have time to run a daytime tech support desk. And honestly? You don't have time to sit on hold with one, either.
That’s exactly why I had to design Tradie AutoPilot to be completely autonomous and idiot-proof.
It's built so well you rarely need to ask for help. But if you do ever get stuck, shoot me an email. I won't reply while I'm teaching, but as soon as the final school bell rings, I'll jump on the laptop and get you sorted out.
